Kym Whitley

 Kym Whitley is an American actor and comedian who has an estimated net worth of $3.5 million. Kym Whitley is best-known for her roles in sitcoms such as "Animal Practice", "The Parkers", "The Boondocks," "Black Dynamite" and "The Boondocks." She was born July 21, 1961 , in Shaker Heights (Ohio) to Kaysonia Whitley and William Whitley. She also spent part of her early years in Khartoum, Sudan and grew up with her two brothers who were older, Kyle and Scott. Her father was an architect and was one of the founding partners of the architectural firm for blacks, Whitley and Whitley. Whitley and Whitley worked on structures like the Tower City Center, Cleveland Public Library, and Progressive Field, home to the Cleveland Indians. Whitley first taught at Compton before she was offered a job as an assistant in Arsenio hall. Whitley also performed on "Soul Train" as dancer. Her first major break in 1989 when she was cast in Shelly Garrett's production "Beauty Shop" which debuted in Los Angeles and traveled throughout the United States.
